Why You’re Stuck (Hint: it’s not “Being Lazy”)

Let’s face it: if it were as easy as ‘just try harder,’ you’d have done everything on your list. ADHD, overwhelm, overcommitting, and even hidden emotional resistance can all sabotage our efforts. But understanding why you’re stuck is the first step to breaking free.

This course is for you if you:

  • Are stuck in constant decision fatigue about what to work on *now*

  • Overthink tasks until they feel impossible

  • Get sidetracked by stress-scrolling or low-priority tasks

  • Feel paralyzed by perfectionism or are unsure of where to start

In this course, we’ll tackle not just the ‘what’ but the ‘why’ behind feeling stuck. We’ll tackle ways to get you UNstuck

  • Identify and overcome hidden obstacles: Learn how emotional resistance, decision fatigue, and other ADHD traits might be holding you back—and what to do about it.

  • Time Management: Feel more organized about what you want to work on and when.

  • Take the first step: Tackling overwhelm, perfectionism, overcommitting, decision fatigue, low motivation, and analysis paralysis to actually start that thing.

  • Make tasks more approachable and less intimidating.

  • Community and accountability: You don’t have to do it alone—connect with others who get it. Support each other to come up with the best solutions and feel less alone doing it.


How It Works

Over the course of 6 weeks (with a bonus 7th week of “Follow up and What’s Next”), we’ll dive into practical strategies and real-time support to help you start to make progress where you’re stuck.

What’s Included:

  • Weekly Live Teaching Sessions with Brittany: Each week, I’ll cover a core topic—from tackling emotional barriers to realistic time management: Mondays at Noon Pacific/3pm Eastern, starting January 27th, 2025

  • Practical Homework and Exercises: Every week I’ll offer a menu of homework to try— choose which you feel apply to you and fit your bandwidth.

  • Daily Group Support via Discord: You don’t have to do it alone—connect with others who get it. Share wins, ask questions, and celebrate progress in a private group with classmates and instructor.

  • Accountability:

    • Set weekly intentions and goals to someone else, and follow up on them.

    • Join our weekly Office Hours &/or Coworking with Brittany on Thursdays at Noon Pacific/3pm Eastern.
